Given the countless hours I’ve spent exploring the Southern California desert, I suppose it only makes sense that I now have enough images of abandoned bedsprings for a series. The desert is strewn with scores of empty, dilapidated cabins and houses, after all, and if a person is disheartened enough to simply walk away from their home why on earth would they go to the trouble of moving their bed?
