If you’ve followed this blog for very long you know that I am, in spite of my happy life up here in the mountains, a desert rat at heart and a big fan of the cactus. My attempts at photographing these beauties are usually limited to my DSLR if only because that’s the camera for which I have a macro lens. I took this particular shot, though, with my humble and un-accessorized Canon Rebel T2 while spending the day in Taos, New Mexico. The film used here is, as usual, Fujichrome Velvia 100F 35mm color-slide film.
Happy Monday to anyone reading this. Wishing you a great week!
