I wrote not too long ago about how happy I was to finally shoot some Velvia 100F color-slide film in L.A.’s Chinatown. It’s a beautifully-vivid film that had also had me longing for another visit to Leonard Knight’s epic folk-art masterpiece Salvation Mountain. My recent drive out to East Jesus made that possible as these two remarkable places are just down the road from each other.
