Another Polaroid Spectra image taken outside the Salton Sea’s World Famous International Banana Museum. And, in case you’re wondering, this is what happens to Polaroid/Impossible Project film in extreme heat (it was 108 degrees when I took this). Even with the air conditioning in the car going almost the entire time (interrupted only briefly at each stop) every image came out with a yellow cast to it. I’m always careful to not leave film of any kind in the car in warm weather but had no idea instant film was quite this sensitive. A very expensive lesson and just one more reason I will be returning as soon as the desert cools down a bit!
