IMG_20140704_0003I missed several photo ops due to the rain yesterday mostly of the many cool vintage cars that dominated our 4th of July parade. I did manage a handful of Polaroid SX-70 images, however, including this one of a horseless carriage, one of the very first autos ever made. This rickety little thing predates even the Ford Model T which was introduced in 1908 and, thanks to the advent of the factory assembly line and interchangeable parts, was the first reasonably-priced car ever marketed to the masses. But, with that major development still a few years away, only the elite had access to the cutting-edge technology of the horseless carriage!
