I was feeling restless today and so I took a little drive down to Palm Springs. It was absolutely lovely there except for the crush of humanity I encountered. And the traffic…OMG, the traffic!! Anyway, I managed to work my way through a couple of rolls of film before I realized my camera had malfunctioned at some point so it remains to be seen what, if anything, I’ll have to show for my afternoon. Thank goodness for my iPhone. I took this shot at Palm Springs City Hall, a very cool structure designed by Albert Frey, a mid-century architect now best remembered for establishing the style known as “desert modernism”.
