  1. Yeah, I’d say that quotation by GS tells us something about the limited vision of avant garde urban intellectuals. I mean, I like a lot of their output, but really.

    • Thanks, Lichanos…Gertrude Stein does come off as being a bit insufferable with that one doesn’t she? Oh well…it was her loss. I can think of few things more gratifying than growing your own veggies.
