I thought I’d pop in to say hello and wish you all a belated Happy New Year. I should probably also explain what’s up with the strange new way I’ve decided to number my posts. I’ve realized that, however much I may believe in the discipline of blogging on a daily basis, I’m simply not up to it this year. The truth is, I’m just now emerging from the aftermath of the shocking event I mentioned here a couple of weeks ago and my year is getting off to a very slow start.

But the last thing I want to do is lose momentum so I’m going to split the difference and commit to posting 225 images this year. This number isn’t as random as it might seem when you consider the fact that, once it’s been achieved, my blog archive will have grown to a grand total of 1,000 images.

All that being said, I do hope that your year is going well so far. I’ll be back soon!
